Picked it up on a lark, but it quickly got really addicting. Flows very smoothly to. Highly recommend it.

I agree with the commenter below. Checked it out on a whim, but pretty impressed with pacing and how likable characters are.

@freshguac the ginseng thing is actually a pretty common item/trope in martial art fantasy stories like these! ginseng is considered to have "mystical" properties irl as well, particularly in china - people believe it to be a sort of cure-all so im not surprised its used this way. the story makes it clear up her blocked ki + give her an abundance of it (probably due to its age). just a random tidbit of info for you but there was a 1,000 year old root sold for a quarter million dollars in 2007-2008!

Chapter 86 has been finished but you'll need to use another site if you wish to read it. Chapter 86 has marked the end of the second season so we will all be needing to wait again for the third to start.
Anyway this one still hits. In my personal opinion it been great from the start and I look forward to the third season. Just wish it would have continued on Mangadex

the fight with the demon God got pretty goofy there. all that planning and scheming by everyone and the plot ends with the demon God getting big then defeated by the power of believing in yourself and most of the cast of the 'original' story basically doing fuck all.

I’m a Martial Art Villainess but I’m the Strongest! was absolutely incredible. I’ve never seen a female lead grow so powerful through actual martial arts training, especially with such strong influence from Chinese wuxia and cultivation-style storytelling. The cultural elements, the fighting techniques, and the way her power grows gradually with effort and strategy made it feel so real and earned. It wasn’t just about flashy battles—it was about her journey, her growth, and her absolute domination through skill and hard work. The pacing was perfect, and the world-building was rich and immersive. I was hooked from the beginning and blown away by how everything came together. It’s rare to find a story like this where a female lead is genuinely the strongest without relying on luck or romance to carry her. Easily a 10 out of 10, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves badass women, martial arts, or just an incredibly well-done power arc. I seriously hope I can find another story like this, but it set the bar so high.
