What the fuck is with all the people wishing suffering on the characters, they literally did nothing wrong. FeMC is suffering even more now, MC didn't really do anything wrong either, and I don't get how people defend the blonde dude. He literally drove a wedge between their friendship by confessing his feelings even though he knew they were dating already. If he wanted to let his friend know, he should've waited for a while and then talk it out like a normal person between all 3 of them.

well, that's some sadistic goddess(?), if there are so many parallel universes, why not take her to one that they know each other and he doesn't die? if the reason is the other her of that world, why not take her to a world where they don't meet but he doesn't have a girlfriend?? This kinds of stories always have plot holes that you must ignore so it can make sense.

@jokerxhisoka I don’t think the goddess was just trying to solve her problem of getting Nogata back.

I think she was, at the same time, trying to get rid of her indecision in their relationship.

If you look at when she said “What am I supposed to do?!” in chapter 4, the goddess responded, “isn’t it good? even if it’s not displayed now.”

By sending her to an alternate dimension where she’s not dating either Nogata or Motoasa, the goddess is giving her the chance to pick between them once more.

This time, though, it’ll be a more stable, thought out decision that doesn’t lead her to be indecisive in the end

Sure, it may be a bit over excessive in order to teach a simple lesson, but she’s a goddess that’s probably lived for many years with knowledge beyond the concept of time (knowledge about alternate universes, ability to control human minds)

She’s bound to be a bit eccentric

She could’ve just made Femc pick a boy by altering her memories, but the goddess wanted femc to decide for herself for whatever reason and she’s sticking by that.

I guess my main point I’m trying to make is that the goddess wants the femc to come to an understanding of her own feelings. While her process is over excessive, it makes sense coming from the goddess, seeing the goddess’ eccentric behavior.

@wandArk and that's why I said she is sadistic. About her indecisiveness, his death on the first universe seems to already have made her mind though.

@jokerxhisoka but doing this will test her determination for Nogata. This time, Nogata’s not vying for her anymore

This time, she has to chase after Nogata like he did before. Whether her determination can withstand that, I think, is what the goddess is testing.

The feMC probably knew her true feelings for Nogata but the goddess is strengthening it by putting her in that alternate universe rather than one where he’s still alive and knows her.

If it was the same universe, then the blonde dude would still like her. In this universe, Motoasa likes the new girl that showed up rather than feMC. Thus, making her decision even more clear.

If she makes it, their relationship would be even stronger since she withstood through this trial. Plus, we already know Nogata likes her since he’s supposed to be the same person (assuming he liked her based on feMC’s personality rather than relationship).

Though, I do agree that the goddess’ personality is a little sadistic by letting Nogata die in feMC’s universe, assuming she knew about it

Ngl, I would have some pretty important existential questions in this situation, things like: "What happened to the me of this world, did you kill her and overwrite her with me? Did we swap without her consent? What happened to the me of that world, did I die when my consciousness transferred over? Is there another copy of me still living in that world feeling all of the pain and having no recourse?" It's very much a mindfuck when you really try to think about it.
