Tbh, since chapter 1 I've felt like she should have responded to him or even just brought up how he laughed at her- but to do something at least. It feels like she's being punished for being indecisive or for not being able to tell him after he told her so many times just to receive silence and I was for it but jeez this is just fucking terrible. I feel so bad for her. Unless this is what the dude felt all those years with no reply but idk man

Ngl, I would have some pretty important existential questions in this situation, things like: "What happened to the me of this world, did you kill her and overwrite her with me? Did we swap without her consent? What happened to the me of that world, did I die when my consciousness transferred over? Is there another copy of me still living in that world feeling all of the pain and having no recourse?" It's very much a mindfuck when you really try to think about it.

From the Goddess's explanation this sounds a bit like Steins;Gate with shifting "fate worlds" like Timelines while being unable to change things that have already happened in this one. It would appear that, unlike Steins;Gate, you can't cause a new branch to happen because of some future knowledge and just have to pick between already existing ones.
