Honest biased review,
bad.

Fmc’s character was kinda infuriating to read even if you consider her position.

I guess the whole timeline jumping shenanigans was because shrine maiden girl wanted to off herself in fmc’s body but decided not to because of the power of her kindness or something.

I honestly wished she just moved on and learned an important lesson for character development but i get why the ending of sending her to another timeline wherein both of them are alive

it just feels cheap though
i feel like the same reflection in fmc’s character wouldve been achieved without sending her to an alternate timeline with her being replaced. Just let her be in the original timeline for less than a month maybe?

anyways im just lowk disappointed reading this

This was so bad honestly, i wasnt expecting this much. We dont know if it was an accident or suicide back then well never mind that, this whole story started bc of her stupidness and she is still the same after all that. I dont know if this is a third world or back to the first world but another time point. Blonde isnt between them he calls her shiho but she still fckng calls him by his surname just call him tsukasa at the ending you. Honestly i just got angry and disaappointed all the way through from the start to end. I wasted 3 hours on this it could be finished with 1 chapter vanilla but it took 19 chapters empty drama bc of her, i couldnt even cry bc i was so mad all the time. I just read "i sold my life for ten thousand yen per year" right before this and that one was a masterpiece.

Maybe the girl lied and she could bring back people from the dead, but she lied to Kiyose so she could take her body. But then she brought Kiyose back to the original universe and made everyone forget that Tsukasa died.

The ending is bad it would have been a much better if it had been a depressing ending.

But man the multiversel stuff is confusing, so like what happened to the OG verse did she just die. And did she also die in the second universe if that’s true then that means that the ghost has practically ruind the lives of multiple families by killing there loved one’s twice just so she can make one person happy.

Ain’t no way the ghost is not the main villain of the story.

That last page is a nice mirror to page 4.

That being said, how does this ending make sense? While Tsurara did state she had the power to unlink universes once, she also stated she did not have the power to undo past events, and it's fairly heavily implied that she was not able to find another universe exactly like the one Shiho was in. The implication before this chapter is that Shiho's body would reject her soul, at which point Tsurara would enter, and die, after which Shiho would become a lingering diety like her. We do in fact see Shiho's soul leaving her body, and we see Tsurara in Shiho's body. Now, suddenly, we're back in the original universe, with Shiho's soul in her original body, Nogata is alive and in his original form, and no one is aware of the events that transpired other than Shiho. It's implied that this is something Tsurara did. In which case, it violates 2 things that Tsurara claimed to be true. So is the whole point of the story that Tsurara could've done this the entire goddamn time, and specifically chose an extra convoluted way to die, when she could've just gone and possessed a corpse or something? :questionblob::question::notlikethis:

I kind of like this ending.
I'll explain what I think happened, and my thoughts on why this is pretty decent.
Well we know that she travellings through multiversites defies it's rules, so her soul gets separated. When she was put in this universe, she essentially replaced herself with that soul temporarily. When she collapsed, her soul was separated, and the body collapses. As we can see, when her soul, the one from another uniiverse, was separated, the main body(the original host) was seen looking back at her. This suggest that the original host came back, as seen as people's reaction was a smile, meaning that they are glad that "she" was okay. Tsurara then transfer her to yet another multiverse, where they are dating. But this would likely to result the same, but Tsurara did mention this as her final gift, maybe hinting that her soul wouldn't get separated, or this isn't another multiverse.
Now I like this because the multiverses perfectly portrayed lives of different people. Humans dies easily, and there are millions of multiverses as here suggested, meaning that each has a different fate. It has a set ground of rules where a being's soul couldn't just hijack into another's, and will eventually be rejected. This may reflect to reality, telling you that you should face your own reality, not to wish stupid stuff. The ending makes a lot of sense to me, hence why I don't find it bad, and it's pretty amusing to me.

In the middle of the night, reading this in 4am, all the while listening to radiohead and nirvana. This made me feel and think a lot of things.
Not many things made me feel like this. Dayum

good manga, though they should have made it have a sad ending- since it was just a short manga. i do not think the author intended it to be one though. this manga is like a childrens story, aiming to teach about regret. im just glad the mc in parallel world was mature.

If she could have possessed a corpse, that Demi-goddess would have done it already. You need a suitable LIVING body to escape the curse.

Yes, after which either Tsurara should've killed herself, with Shiho finding herself unable to possess her own corpse, or not, with Shiho finding herself unable to possess a living body with another soul already in it. Or, if Tsurara possessed her body, then re-ejected herself and re-inserted Shiho into her own body, proceeding to not die, then what the fuck was the point of any of this? See what I'm getting at?

I don’t think you have a grasp on anything. This story is about a deal with a devil. Tsurara let Shiho live because she did something the demon didn’t do in her life that moved her: show gratitude for seeing her love one last time. Tsurara ALWAYS had the power to make this ending happen, but she wanted to trick someone like her past self. Without that catharsis, dying wouldn’t be satisfying.

Besides, it’s not like there is some time limit. There is always another person to prey on, and that “goddess” has all the time in the world…
