This was a very nice chapter, I wonder how the plot will proceed. I don't dislike Ren, she's super arrogant but it's also because of how she was raised. I do want her to have character growth though, so she can be more likeable.

Hrrm we need a better internal harem too!!!

Sure rewards are nice and all... but to be honest, I KINDA want at least one of the gods to be REALLY into Yuuki. And not just in the "let's have sex" way. But we shall see...

I hope Yuuki will gain superpower in the future( even after 3 gods in him, all his get is just a little stronger in physical strength and low-key healing factor)

NGL, when it's all said and done, this feels kinda cheap and underwhelming.
Our protags get a "win" by managing to survive for a single minute against Ren in a competition that, in a way, was rigged against her (she had to moderate use of her powers in a way she normally would not). Not to mention, she only didn't win because Yuuki had some secret power that he and Kyouka didn't even know about. Like, what does that prove? What theoretical application does the outcome of this match actually have? The story clearly wants to start knocking her down a peg, but there were absolutely better ways to go about it, I think.
oh you mean moderating her power like she would have to do if there were civilians nearby that would be harmed? Like her fucking job as a protector would require her to do any way? Say it isn't so...

Oh and they won cause of a power she didnt know they had? Kinda like she has no idea what the remaining gods are actually capable of cause the gods didnt fight her and retreated to make her overconfident? Gee i wonder why thats relevant....

I see a lot of people being confused on how Kyouka and Yuki won the fight. It all comes down to one word: Hubris.

The point wasn’t to beat a vastly powerful foe, it was to show that she wasn’t as capable as she was portrayed to be. That she couldn’t easily succeed regardless of the limitations place. That a crafty enough enemy can work around her power and still reach their objectives. Which will likely happen if she keeps underestimating the gods.

I guess some people will understand using the end of 300. Spoiler Alert: The 300 don’t survive the encounter with Xerxes armies, but they still were victorious by setting into motion the forces that will defeat them.

Oh, so having those wet dream demons gods inside him do have some effect to his capabilities.

I feel like if Yuki discover this and told everyone, it could've helped Kyouka achieve more votes.
If anything it'll lead Yuuki on the experimentation table. Or they'll lock the guy up out of fear that the Gods can take control of him, or at the very least share crucial information to the Gods Outside of his body. The Gods already shown some capacity of being a step ahead of them, so Yuuki revealing this would just paint a target on himself.

No, because Ren didn’t even try to use her full powers. One of the rules is to not kill your comrades lol.
dunno how impressive this is supposed to be if you just straight up tell me they only lasted the full minute because that wasn't enough time for Ren to figure out just how much she needs to hold back to not kill them

Yeah, it's almost like Ren needs a better idea of how to gauge her power as well as the power of her enemies, especially if she's to fight near civilians. Like imagine if she's going against enemies who took people hostage. What's she's gonna do? Nuke them along with the people around them? Yeah, that's a great Chief.

Heck this was a treat to see.

Maybe I missed it. Did they ever explain how Ren's power works, exactly?
Nah, only that she has eight different abilities of immense strength. She can use up to two at a time, and most of the time she mixes two of them at a time to create a different effect. She can also use two of the same abilities to increase the strength of said ability.

So far, she has shown the abilities to deliver long range blasts/shockwaves, transport people as far as the bottom of the sea, fly, healing (her own injuries only), and cancel the powers of other people (however she can't negate a God's power, and while she can undo Kyouka's slave transformation, she can't undo the reward requirement). She also has incredible physical strength, however I don't know if that's due to her own ability or a result of great training (like Kyouka).

I think ren just holding back, she was looking down on Kyouka's power and assuming that one punch is enough, also they ain't allow to kill each other so ren can't just do some One punch man shenanigans
I was right lol. But kinda surprise that the main reason Ren lost her cool, was expecting some kind of new master+slave combat form but whatevere still gud

Pretty sure she can just snipe them from another country away.

She did just that to the giant shuuki kuusetsu summoned that showed up in a heavily populated area and avoided hitting any aircraft with an attack that flew all the way to Yokohama from Washington DC.
