Exactly what I'm saying, this whole "Anti-Ren" agenda is SOOO forced by this fandom.

Lol how hilarious. How's it forced by the fandom when you have have the author via the characters (both protagonists and villainous gods) acknowledge that Ren being in charge is gonna end up ruining humanity. Now if Ren had enough redeeming qualities to remain commander, she'll take that humiliation and defeat that she feels and use that to actually make some necessary changes and start taking external threats (like the Gods) seriously. But if she doesn't and instead just focuses on Yuuki and Kyouka while still believing herself to be almighty, then she doesn't need to remain as commander and the sooner she's given the boot, the better.

The battle was a tie, but the actual point of it was to prove that Ren can easily misjudge her opponents. The fact that she thought she would easily win within the limits but was not able to back up her boast proves Kyouka's point, so in a way, it is her lost.

Indeed, all the policies Ren Yamashiro implemented hinge on the sole confidence of her that she can easily overpower the gods.
It's a baseless confidence as she never actually fought any of the gods in their full power with both sides intending to kill.

So I guess, according to Fukuma they really are apart of him? I was kinda running with the possibility of some bigger scheme going on in regards to the gods within the boy.
