Males got the short end of things in this world that even animals can get buffed from the Peaches. As for Ren, confidence is good to boost morale but it would be better for her to prepare for the worst. Like Lending with Yuuki for example

Ren feels like the calculating type where the main priority of being besties with Bell is due to the fact that she's the only one who can kill her with ease. Then again, in my logic, it'd probably be wiser to deny her growth back then with the Seventh or find a way to suppress her powers entirely.

Maybe I'm reading way into this and she's just a god among men that wants a genuine friend.

Short chapter, I think Ren is going to learn of her mistake thinking she can always win alone. Just look at how the reward system over powers her even though she's trained herself against it. I hoping the trap isn't right away but a long while after the truce so much so that Ren thinks it wasn't going to happen.
