First, I think the conjurer of this place is in another place, this feels more like a barrier with alternate space construction than a mindscape, so even if the person died I think the space would simply "break" and people would be back to normal space, but I can be wrong, the fact that there is a whole process to enter and the time passage is different do bring other question.

Second... there is too much firepower inside this place now, even the gods of thunder would be hard-pressed on an attack like this, more so when they already lost two of theirs in their last attempt, I mean... the whole "peace proposal" is them buying some time to try another thing, they just wanted the MDF focusing in other things as they make their real play.
