Yeah. MC is dense af but he is dense af because he grew up with those two siblings. His denseness is Mayaka's own making. She obviously likes him but doesn't really dare being honest so she keeps teasing him and joking with him... but since that is pretty much how they have been since before either of them probably even knew what romance or cared about it he can't really get that she is likes him. She really needs to be just straight forward for once even if she goes back to joking and teasing him most of the time she still needs to convey the stuff that matters honestly.

This comes out so infrequently I had forgotten they weren't the same age. He certainly doesn't look younger

Still close in age so it isn't like they would look that much different.
