Snake eggs arent like clchicken eggs... they are flexible and the snake is already formed when the snake lay them. When i read they were snale eggs. I though that small snakes would come out lol

So they can't cook eggs in this world. Amazing. I am surprised they managed to survive for so many generations.

@lionfromnorth

I am surprised you managed to miss the gist of the chapter, where they point out that he was putting in snake eggs, and thus why they didn't use those eggs to eat.

Huh, interesting to note is that Lefay describes herself as a "creature". At first, I thought the wording was weird since people usually used "person" but then I remember that Lefay isn't an elf but a Fae.

Lefay doesn't see herself as anything close to human. She is and always will be a Fae.

@LGear Humans eat pig uteruses as a delicacy, don't tell me they wouldn't eat snake eggs in a harsh desert environment. Come back when you have acquired common sense.

Is this an actual real life food? It's literally just a boiled barley and egg right?

@musicfreak12 yes it is real. Barley porridge is a regional icon of Danyang, China for example. Another Chinese staple is congee, which is basically the same thing but using rice instead of barley. Lots of dishes around the world emphasis simplicity as they're typically an everyday meal item.
