This coup d'etat arc started in chapter 12 and is dangerously close to being more than half the entire comic. Why is it so drawn out? Are we supposed to pretend there is some other outcome aside from MC winning?

I would actually prefer this MC true edginess than pretentious edginess of eminence of shadow MC.

I'm getting really sick of all these OP MCs dragging fights on for chapter after chapter. He could have dealt with this shit months ago if he wasn't so hell bent on doing the absolute bare minimum.
It's not just this series though, it seems like any series with an overpowered protagonist thinks we need to spend 5+ chapters watching the side characters get completely wrecked and borderline uncomfortably toyed with only to have the MC pop up at the last possible second, and then when they finally do start taking action, it's like 15 chapters till that acion is concluded. It no longer creates tension, just frustration.
