This is really interesting
Isekai can be an interesting genre, some authors genuinely seem to enjoy writing it, and have actual ideas they want to realize. The vast majority though seem to write as if there was a gun to their head. They only do the bare minimum, preferring to follow cliche without deviation or variation. Honestly it is a problem that comes about when ever a specific genre becomes overly popular. If you want to read some really good isekai go back to before the term isekai was coined, or before it got so popular. There are hundreds of stories about visiting other worlds, and the diversity goes far beyond just generic worlds of swords and magic.
Of the two types I think this one might have an opportunity to be the former. This is judging by the art style, which seems to actually have a clear style, and be of professional quality. This is no joke either, many of the inferior generic isekai are also drawn in a lazy amateurism way. It is almost guaranteed that if the art style is boring and generic the isekai will probably follow suit.
