Sonidori was more like Hikaru's father than her coach.

His words clearly have more effect on her than anyone elses.

Does this looks bad to you? Animation looks decent, 3D blends well with 2D elements and the backbone of the show, voice actors are on fire... It will be good.
Fortunately , they looks good. The unfortunate part is, they tended to run out of steam midway. More so anime with a lot of motions. I hope this is just me being paranoid. :notlikethis:

20 years from now it will get a fire remake I bet… just make it good now though eh
Just gotta wait for japan to have another figure skating olympic medalist and this'll get a proper adaptation, at worst a spiritual successor hopefully with characters we can come to care about as much as the ones in this series

it's insane this is the first time hikaru fell in a competition, girlie really is a progidy. i can see her becoming more inconsistent from now on and having a big conflict with jun about it. i wonder if there's any possibility of her being coached by tsukasa, it would be interesting (but unlikely)

iruka nooo this was unexpected, i hope is just a sprain and nothing more serious

ty for the translation!!

also i have to say this everytime but the way tsurumaikada portrays skating is insanely good. i doubt the anime is gonna deliver even a fraction of the dinamism and power their art has
