The butler probably is just following his faith. You know like do no harm stuff like that. Miss villainess probably has proof about the stepmother is going against the religion's scripture or something

It seems like they're improving eachother's lives for the better. Though Sophie seems to be making a good case to her guards that a body swap has taken place. If she manages to convince them that could change the direction of the story significantly.
