It used to work but now groups seem to ignore him now that it's lost its novelty, and they know he poses no threat because he's never committed enough to consistently update a manga from start to end. Nobody panics anymore once they realize how full of shit he really is.

Imagine if scanlators were chefs (of course they have nothing to do with each other lol), it’s like you’re complying because instead of the chef cooking the main dish or appetiser first, he brings you the desert and you get mad about it.
