shu used magic to tell the kingdom to release iris within time limit of days if not he will obliterate them and instead of hearing him (plus they receive the Oracle too which is the same in the manga) they decided to f*ck around and found out which is why shuu rescue her before her execution and just nuke the capital with his death magic
