Thanks, the blood thing was really stupid, as much as getting his ship checked out.
It makes a little bit more sense for the shit because si still super hard to pilot, but is like selling a guide to your weakpoints, not to add as the ship itself is a bundle of technology that surprises people that were born in that sci-fi setting.
I really hate how they somehow were able to create mutant monsters from his blood in a short time and that he so easily sold his DNA when not needing the money, he just doesn't think.
Well he sold his dna because the rumour of him having unique genes was sure to get out and then he'd have some randoms appearing left and right to steal a bit of blood (or semen) straight out of his body.
And the Krishna overhaul it's fine, it's not like they learned anything because he didn't let them take apart anything they didn't have confidence in putting back together so they only looked at the generator and just noped out.
All they learned is that it's basically a small ship with output like a cruiser. Who'd want to take on a monster like that especially with the pilot having those kinds of skills? Also Mei protects any data that might pose a threat to Hiro and his crew. So they basically just checked if any parts need a fix and did just that, honestly looking at modern fighter jets it's kinda understandable why he let them do that. Also from now on he has the twins to maintain his ships, so it's not like he lost on it since they let him earn quite a bit.
So he kinda scammed those dwarves quite rightfully.
Also the technology surprising other people despite it being Sci-Fi setting is not a weird thing. Take for example Stellaris, you fly around with your cold fusion reactor ships and then you notice a war armada powered by dark matter reactors randomly parked nearby... Obviously you have no idea how they use dark matter to power up the ships nor even what is dark matter, but hey then you go through the game and steal their tech... awfully late in the game that is.
