It was probably this. I've mentioned this before, but in the WN, the author described them as like children and flat for quite a while, then once they were bedded (or very shortly before) the description was changed to adults with normal proportions but miniature (it was like this for all dwarven women).

Rumor has it (and this is only a rumor I read from a comment), the author made changes in response to criticism of how many lolis, underage, or near-underage characters he kept writing (not just in this story) that ended up with the main characters.

Mimi is 15, and 15 is the age of adulthood in this universe. Again, the above paragraph is only a rumor, but I think there's enough evidence to not entirely throw it out. And the author made changes to fix that, so I'm not going to hold it against him too much.

MCs like this are nice to see occasionally, compared to the more common types of isekai MCs, who either are doormats, edgelords, or appear artificially tough because plot convenience just makes everything happen their way, without them needing to lift a finger. A main character doesn't prove they are a person of integrity if every character they encounter automatically worships the ground they walked upon, unless it's an enemy quickly defeated by relying on cheat powers.

Of course this could also be still better if Hiro actually had (competent) male friends as well, so it wouldn't all look like a harem. But that's far too much to ask from the isekai genre. The author still needs to please the Japanese audience or the series will get axed. Not that I'd know if the author himself would like to make it so or not.

The problem is, there is no AI in this world.
They have evolved and become MI aka., Machine Intelligence, and are treated as a seperate race.

Because of historic issues, people don't much rely on MI for data analysis for tactics or military purpose.

MC is rare to use an MI on his team, especially a high-spec Maidroid, but even he doesn't use her for data analysis and strategies. He just uses her for support, though she does collect data as per standard requirement and uses it whenever necessary.

And even if someone uses an MI to analyse his data, there isn't much they could do, as they can't copy his thought process, which is core of MC's capabilities.

There’s absolutely AI in this world. Not our current, dumbass, wasteful Lon versions. But powerful computers capable of vast computations without sentience.
