Personally I don't think harems should go beyond 4. At a certain point you just won't have adequate time to give to characters that are theoretically equal parties to the mc and inevitably some waifus get shafted... Usually the ones I like too, unfortunately. I'd rather a small, well-developed group than a dude who is just playing pokemon with women.

Btw, LN Vols 1-5 (Japanese version) have gotten reprints.

Which makes me feel the likelihood of this series getting an anime in the future is quite high; just hope that Kadokawa and the production committee allocates proper resources and skills so the series looks like Gundam or Galactic Heroes (esp the space fights) and not some slideshow of stills like certain series out there.

If it's not gonna be done by Sunrise then doubt it'll be on the levels of Gundam. Sound design in Gundam is just...

To be fair, Hiro comes off as an enterprising opportunist.

He may not be ok with getting intimate with Serena, but he's pretty ok with being just close enough with her for her connections and bounty deals. The only thing in the way at this point is Serena's insistence on dragging him into her sphere of influence, while all he wants is to fly around freely as his own independent agent.

Is this one isekai where #1 girl allows the protagonist to have up to 8 harem members, including herself. Just to have him for a day (or a night?) in the 8 day long week. How a realist hero rebuilt the kingdom if you care. But if you are of opinion that less is more, then The John Blake Chronicles (a.k.a. Three square meals).

I make a guess Hiro is wary of Serena's noble status. If Hiro were to bed her, there could be some serious repercussions, or at least serious expectations, of him. For Serena to have what she wants, she would pretty much have to abandon the military, her noble status, and become just another mercenary. I kinda wish she would be the captain of the rumored mothership
