A while back someone in these comments said that he doesn't in the... either the WN or LN. That he's always going to be like this. He has no back bone at all and never will develop one, that the girls around him are the fighters. They can't even be his harem, and they'll even comment about it much later that he hasn't done anything with them even though they do like him. Dude is a doormat.

On the sea he's invincible. MC can own the water of this world. Since ships have always been the best means of transporting goods on blue planets, MC does change everything. It's just that the nobles aren't privy to that. They still think they stand a chance against him.

The world's lore says that some other reincarnator already conquered the world with battleships, and then another went full Demon King destroying the world spanning civilization, setting the world back into the stone age. The creator God gave the MC an op skill, but he made sure no armed ships are in the catalogue, he's a troll though, so the definition of "ship" is pretty loose.

Edit: For the record, that earlier reincarnator made those battleships by advancing magitech with his op skill, it wasn't Ship Summoning, all the magic ships people sail now were dug up from ancient ruins.

It’s precisely because he’s an adult that he tries to avoid unnecessary trouble. Only a 12 year old decides things on impulse and is quick to throw fists. This dude is just an ordinary person thrown into a completely different world. I doubt highly that you would know how to deal with a member of royalty that can bring the power of a country to a fight.

War and fighting are not his bag, and more damage can de done financially/logistically to a country than murder of royalty and innocents.
