The girls he attracts are people he trusts. Also, if anyone goes against them, they get ejected from his ships. So he might have an automatic means of this stuff. Also he went out of his way for them, and they are going out of their way for him. They like him and the luxuries his ships provide. That is trust.
Sure, but those are just a few people. Even if you assigned each one a ship that would hardly be the British Empire-style armada he would need (if you actually want them to be able to do anything other than ramming into other boats, they need a lot more crew on each ship). Also, it's not really clear if he can eject already invited people at a distance, when he himself is not on board. At least I don't remember this being shown or discussed.

It is like that for a while; but, he does try to make an active effort into getting a harem. Only to realize things have gotten awkward; and, he can't figure out how to approach them, without it being creepy or shallow. Basically, he sucks at setting the mood, and it's causing things to stall out.
Ahh, yes, the good ol' "let's start as friends" approach that always inevitably gets you friendzoned.

Hmm.. Yeah. Still, ramming with the speeders would still be rather effective.

They... turned the tide of battle here. They can shut down a port, even. Hell, the prince himself got there via boat. Like... does he not care to offend him? Right now, unless the prince wants to hoof it back and leave his boat... well... We'll have to see what the next chapters bring here.

There's an easy way to assert himself here. Just park one of his ships close enough to the royal ship that it's within the shield, and now princy-poo is stranded.

Reply with a simple question and answer.

"What is the difference between a defensive wall and a blockade? The direction of the animosity of the line of ships."

Then proceed to "escort" the prince's boat to the middle of the enemy fleet if it is still there; otherwise just leave it outside the wall.

The prince seems to run on the concept of "no one would dare defy me", not actual rational thought. I'm pretty disappointed by that, since it's such a lazy way to introduce an antagonist.

LN Reader here
He gets an amphibean kind of bus... So he is also invincible on land too
Wha? How the hell does that count as a ship? Is it enough that it can kind of float? Would an inner tube count as well? Now that would be armor in style!

Ah yes, then why did he join the politic intervention and the war to begin with? He's contradicting the premise and his motto even on this chapter. Idk about you but MC act like 12 years old if he's that easy to get deceived by stranger (the girls) with nothing in return
You forget that God literally told him to assist the girls when they come to him for help. That was an order from the top.

I'm afraid you're the one that forgot. He has the right to decline it, he even get recommended to decline it even if it's just a tiny bit, please reread chapter 23, or let me get the text instead

"WATARU-SAN...

...UNFORTUNATELY, IT ISN'T SOMETHING THAT CAN BE CHANGED BY YOUR ACTIONS.

...I CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING MORE, BUT YOU ARE FREE TO CHOOSE IF YOU'D LIKE TO INVOLVE YOURSELF IN THIS."

A battleship is a boat. He should save up for one.
SUMMON AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER ON THE PORT!!!
Only civilian 'ships' allowed inside the catalog. Only Creator God can edit the catalog. God specifically set up this skill for no military use.
So No.
People in the comments are acting like the gods watching Wataru, they’re sick of him trying to avoid conflict when they heard people from Earth change the world via becoming powerful kings, sorcerers, warriors, etc. and Wataru just wants an easy life.
Funnily enough some gods do raise same concerns (and criticism for Creator God) and even wiling to bless mc for more entertainment.

It's true that mature people don't provoke needless fights and know how to pick their battles, but they can also assess the situation and stand their ground when necessary. He is panicing pointlessly and were it not for the supporting characters, might even give in and become the princes' lackey. Meanwhile the prince himself currently has no way to touch him - his ships cannot be sunk or borded without an invitation and no one even knows his identity, plus the ships themselves can change appearence freely. He can sit tight and try to wait the prince out, or vanish without a trace the moment he's bored of it. There is no need to feel threatened or even threaten the country. It's enough to make them understand that he either cooperates on his terms, or not at all.
True, but the whole point of having the girls in the story is to keep the MC grounded and to make up for what he lacks. He’s clearly not an assertive person and a lot of people especially in Japanese society, emphasize authority and hierarchy in the workplace. When those things are ingrained on a daily basis it becomes a hard not to defer to authority. The main character doesn’t want to cause waves but also wants to help those around him, it’s not hard to see why he would be overwhelmed in this situation. Just calling him a child because he isn’t decisive with a complete grasp of every situation is just reductive and it paves the way for marysue character writing.
