Honestly, I agree with that. These guys have been allies and watching your main ally who's done so much for you and your homeland drool over some women the enemy country sent to woo you would make you feel a type of way. I mean they're kinda "close" friends (in a really good friend of the family kinda way) and it's not like he just moved the boat and let the empire invade i mean he was still shielding them, he just "blockaded" the city after the little shit started acting like MC was one of his subordinates when at worst he's essentially a mercenary (Pro tip if you people ever find yourselves warlords don't piss your mercenaries and don't lie or "forget" to pay them).

Now, don't misconstrue this thinking they should give them their bodies, but aside from looking pretty what have they given to the MC that benefits him?

in later arc in WN the girls actually had this worry since they end up pretty much in his grace, this even more show up when the leader of girasol little brother act disrespect to wataru, the problem while the girls want to somehow repay wataru, he just to wimp to do anything making their relation at delicate balance which seriously frustrating to read, since unlike the slaves girls their relation more like employe and employed

he is in a world he knows very little about and has been very clear his goal is to just chill and make money.
So the only reason he is doing anything is that they are his first friends in this world.
But outside of possibly being a doormat for girls, MC is acting perfectly reasonable.

He might be a god on water, but there is far more to lose the what he can gain from any conflicts since his power is so broken.
He could very likely gain more money from monopolising "risky" trades and he clearly does not care for status.
But the hijinx of the gods and the world pulling him into shenanigans he clearly wants nothing to do with is part of the fun.

well mc get reprimand later from god of commerce since MC just throw money to much buying ship made the gold coin in world to much depleted, he end up need doing charity something along the line to return gold into circulation as consequence, also the main god that gave wataru power is brat that other make god & goddess have headache but cant do anything since he is the head god
