all Chinese Fantasy mangwhas are like this.

it's all about "stages" (treasures, ascension, soul states, pills, herbs, cultivation, etc)

you literally can't find any Chinese Fantasy setting manga/ manghwas that doesn't focus on "stages".

If you don't like reading about "stages", you might as well drop this series right now. Because there WILL be lot more "stage" focus.

I'm saying that it's use of stages is not special or interesting on it's own and that what draws me to this story in particular is the mc and her interactions with people. This isn't a crack at Xanxia, I know how these stories go. My point is that this story has a good mc and shouldn't leave them out for so long for this setup.

I've heard Nascent Soul in so many stories, but the stages after that get a bit fuzzy. Soul Transformation? Hollow Nirvana? I don't quite grasp exactly how much beyond Nascent Soul those two stages are. (I have no idea how much to attribute this confusion to translators or to authors)
