Why did Takumi agree for a date with Miyabi? Looks out of character for him.

Takumi agree for a date with Mayubi? I agree that he was depressed and all but it seems out of character for to just agree for that.
Also, miyabi pulled him into love hotel so it might look forced but they both did talk to clerk. Maybe this is just coincidence though.
I was kinda sad for him until he went on a date. I got uninterested after that.
