To be honest, I'm amazed there were any ghosts left and Hana didn't just purify them with her aura.

does it auto purify any ghost or only malicious intent ones making the 'im just here to watch a movie' benign and somewhat pure already?

From what we've seen, it's an auto-purify. Hana's aura is like Spirit Febreeze.

Edit: Just noticed on the last page as they were exiting that Miko & Hana's tickets were for theater room #4 (Shi) which also sounds like the word for Death in Japanese.

Really it makes sense that ghosts that can move around but not touch things would hang out in a place with free entertainment
