I'm still chronologically confused about the father; we see a flashback from I guess maybe around eight years ago, give or take a year, and the father is already looking somewhat middle-aged but, in the high school flashbacks, which seem to take place in the mid-2000s from the look of the flip phones, he looked young for his age, almost like an elementary school student. It's like he rapidly aged in the decade or so between the high school flashback to when he first took the younger versions of Miko and Kyousuke to the zoo
