Oh god, i guess it would make sense to turn the home into a prison but it’s terrifying. Imagine having to explain to your family that you have to move out of your family home because it’s going to be a prison for something so powerful that it doesn‘t even have a proper name. Not to mention the fact that all miko’s memories of her father and her father’s spirit are in that house.

We always hear about how powerful knowing the real names of entities are in these yokai folklore and even fantasy stories. What they learned is a step in that direction I reckon and I bet the dad knows more about it considering he has an advantage over it, so far.
