Rom was almost killed in ch. 52. Mieruko’s brother in 56. 59 is another example.

Like, imagine the comedy slice of life potential of "The daily lives of dead dad, his creepy horse-dog hybrid thing and the random eldritch horror they picked up off the street."

seems to me her father did plan ahead and set up few plans how to defeat that thing. i don't think to seal it the house will help much. but it could work as a steel cage battle ring. Noone can get in or out before the opponent is down forever.
