That sounds both interesting - that they thought of forcing the camera shutter noise to always be turned on - and horrible - that Japan has that kind of problem...
Japan has the weirdest problems.
In the rest of the world you can get your neck sliced off because you look at someone the wrong way, in Japan you get arrested because you tried a selfies photo booth because you're a alone guy.

They would fit quite well together.
Wait, was she not a neurotic woman who has to control everything about her target of affection's life? And him a victim of a neurotic mother who had to control everything about her son's life?

...I feel like they would fit extremely poorly together :worry:
At least from his perspective.

I would normally scoff at the phone camera having the old-style camera shutter sound, as no one has that turned on anymore.
But then I remember what I heard CDawgVA - I think it was - mentioned in a video about phones in Japan, and how apparently that camera shutter sound is unable to be turned off on Japanese phones. I don't know if what they said was true or not, as I haven't actually been in Japan to find out for myself, but I'm sure there are those here that can confirm or deny it!
It's true. Can confirm as I have a JP phone in Japan.

Stalking and peeping have become such a problem there that this is one way to combat it, by making sure everyone can hear you when you take a photo.

I disabled my camera shutter noise almost a decade ago (still same phone, but intend to do it on my next too), after I had napped in a lecture and had too many full blackboards to read and decided to just photograph them all - resulting in everyone hearing the shutter noise and the teacher deciding to accommodate me by moving the blackboards (and himself) so I had clear angles of them all. I died out of embarrassment that day

Pairings are always NamexName, learn your animangamath.
If you are referencing that field of mathemathics, then no, it is always division: i.e dean/sam or sam/dean
It is why it's called slashfics, to begin with.

Still, if you want multiplication or division, you can still do the vector idea: A x B = [1, -1]

Live action adaptions are dogshit and nothing to celebrate
Most adaptions that adapt manga/anime to live action tend not to care about the source which leads to bad adaptations. One piece has shown you make a good adaptation when you pay attention to source however If the director did what you did and condensed the entire manga into its singular gag then yea it would be bad.

The cross-chapter cameo details that were pointed out at the end are just divine and as testament to the thoughtful writing.
As for Zen & You, I ship it. They both needed another outlet for themselves than cats and her sister respectively.

Really? How does that work, though? Wouldn't you need physical access to the phone to turn that sound on?
It depends: is the only way to turn that sound on on your phone a physical switch? If the answer is "no", then it is possible to activate it remotely. HOW is it possible, is a completely different matter...

I think the odds are really in her favor too, we know Miko thinks Michiru is hot (her reaction to being able to see her face for the first time was so good lol), and really cares about her (she was willing to risk facing that axe monster to protect her). And they got a special solidarity going with the supernatural element and their shared experiences. Hana meets 2/3 criteria as well but despite plenty of yuribait between them I don't think Miko ever thought about how hot Hana is, unlike Michiru.

Also live action adaptations can be really great, y'all. The live action versions of "She Loves to Cook and She Loves To Eat" was fantastic for example, and the recent live action version of "Ayako Is In Love With Hiroko" was even better, probably my single favorite adaptation of a manga. Mieruko-chan imo just did not work as an anime, just like most horror (although the studio picked to adapt it certainly didn't help, Passione was such a terrible choice). Horror anime is an infamously fraught genre, especially anything that really needs the visuals to hit perfectly like Mieruko-chan does. A live action version might still suck, of course, but if they put the proper work into the effects, particularly if they make them at least partially practical, then it's got odds of being way better than the anime imo.

Looking forward to the adaptation, but my expectations are really, really low

The problem with many adaptations of horror mangas into anime is that the "big scares" where we get a full monster reveal are really just still redraws of the manga art but the camera pans over it to simulate action.
The now infamous Adult Swim Uzumaki adaptation did it really well in episode one, actually animating the dad's tongue twisting into the spiral and the girl's eye vanishing into her socket.
It's all about giving movement and life to what is a still image, taking it one step further.
For that a live action can work REALLY well because you can't just have a "still image" of the monster like you can do in an anime.
