So why did you make no mention of the dog in your first or second comment? Clarification was all I was asking for, and I had to list options before you actually stated what you initially meant.

To be fair, Eku did admit that she got this whole Kaomari thing from the editor. Read the afterword from this chapter: Thank you for reading the Volume 12's Kaomari booklet.
