Yeah, the illustration of the young father alone might be signaling that and he is used to them. This could explain how the father seems to be friends to the other monster ghost in the house, he acts completely different to other ghosts.

There could be also the implication the father is chill because he is not or at least not completely aware that he is dead and seeing and interacting with ghosts is business as usual as when he was alive. It's quite intriguing.
