This is a very well written manga.

That first teacher with the "harmless teasing" just kills me. As if bullying in Japan isn't already bad enough because of their obsessive view of conformity the teacher piles on to Mii-chan an object of ridicule.

I was hoping that the second teacher could help her but in the probably didn't do much. This is reinforced by the fact that Mii-chan wasn't recognized as "special" until she'd already been arrested as an adult.
