I mean, considering she just suddenly decided to live and freeload off him (he only let her in because she was a cute cat) I can't place too much blame on him, since he was practically thrown into the whole situation. That being said, they got into this situation partially because of his irresponsibility (getting lost on the trail, not figuring out that she was sick earlier, not charging his phone, leaving her alone at the shelter).

Also, I don't blame him for not knowing much about her. He only knew as much as Mio is willing to share. Like we all already learned, you can't tell Mio what to do.

Everyone's expectations of him is unreasonably high. Sure if it were his family, he should've been more careful, but they've literally met 2 weeks prior.

Unreasonably high expectations?..

He didn't do the bare minimum that is basically communicating with her, especially when he decided it's fine for her to stay it's not like she is holding him at gunpoint forcing him to let her stay.

He's living with a stranger pretty much considering how little he actually knows, it's not Mio isn't willing to share, rather him not caring in the first place, he never really asked.

I'm on 70% the side of big brother.

Although:
1. Iori doesn't know about Mio predicament, nerdier asked more about her life and reason why she even decided to stay at his place. He was preoccupied with her cat form.

2. Iori just fell out of his daily loop of work>home>sleep>work, thanks to Mio he just started to be more compassionate.

3. They were together for just few weeks, he is just an ASSISTANT MENAGER, it's a glorified title, you're a tiny bit more than regular employee. Don't expect to sustain all needs.

But:
1. Iori didn't notice fully Mio being wet from having fun in the river, she had wet hair and weather going badly cause her to be ill. Not to mention clothes.

2. He didn't pry from Mio about herself, just accepted she is with him.

3. Avoided to ask Makio about cat girls, despite her knowing much more.

4. He knew about GPS tracking, something there for a reason, but avoiding to ask why exactly it's there.
