So true, people really do forget that hard work is just as much of a talent as anything else that they consider "talents". If you take it for granted that you can survive, day after day, with optimism, then you are also blessed with talent. Actually, Yuu is blessed with many talents- but because so many of them are taken for granted, and they don't produce external results, no one really cares about them.

All he does is smile, laugh, and look cute. Everytime it cuts back to his face he's always smiling and laughing and drawn extra pretty. He has no other personality left other than "I'll always be there for you", a cute face, and the floppy korean boy band haircut.

I hate that this is true. The author only focused on Yuu at the start of the series and now it's all about the sisters. I wish that we got more of yuu like his aspirations/goals for the future,what are his feelings towards the sisters individually,etc.

I relate to Yuu on that, the standard educational methods were not kind to me, not the worst case by any margin and I don't discount my own shortcomings, but... BOI... my last years of school were rough.

Thing is, Yuu has NONE right now, as he's focused on the well-being of the sisters, which is why I believe that this current arc is needed, as he will have to face his past full ahead soon... BUT, at the same time, this current arc, IMO, needed to happen right after the dinner with the sisters and Mr. Mikadono, when Yuu was told if he was OK with seeing the sisters accomplish their goals while he was still at a stalemate, instead of the "Yuu's Gift" and "Good Partner" Arc

Those arcs were enjoyable, but because Yuu barely had any character development in them, they frankly felt... Kind of filler, as they were 2 entire arcs dedicated to more character development of the sisters, when Yuu was the one who needed it the most.

So, in short, IMO, the story structure could've worked much better like:

Dinner arc >>> Yuu deals with his past (Current arc) >>> Yuu becomes aware of both the sisters' and his own feelings >>> Gift / Good Partner arcs (Which would've had a bigger impact now with everyone's feelings on the table.)

It's not like I'm not enjoying the manga, but yeah, Yuu needed more character development, like, many chapters ago.
He needs to be much more than just "The sisters' caretaker", which, again, I hope is what this current arc is trying to accomplish.

Here I am thinking that Sakura will come again to the rescue to help tutor Yuu but goddamn onion ninjas on that page 15. I'm also listening to Hanatan - Glow while reading this and Aya - sensei's art truly is such a wonder.

If only Sasuga Kei used her art style to this wholesome of a story at the very start of her career, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have love it. Alas, it is not.

Current arc seems to have to do with the two actors from his past, so maybe the much-wanted Yuu development is coming really soon.

Thinking more about it, I think this is one of the few romance manga where both the male and female reciprocate their feelings to each other. Maybe that's why this manga feels so sweet whenever I read it. More often than not, the FMC hides her feelings behind anger or other negative emotions. Which, I admit, pretty amusing read but too often of that makes you bored of it, yknow?
