It says cultural exchange but where's the exchange?
Looks like Mimi (whom I think is from the west) is looking at her Peter Griffin figurine and on the top panel it looks like there's a stereotypical otaku looking at their Miku figurine.
Or is it trying to say that these two examples are roughly equal in terms of popularity and memes (at least for Mimi)? Or did I miss something?
This reminds me of the fact that King of the Hill, is apparently really popular in Japan. So I can only wonder if they've also got the Hill's family as figurines too
What's the deal with Family Guy ? I'm absolutely not familiar with the show, and close to nobody know it anyway where I'm from. I just know it's quite popular as a meme, not unlike Shrek it seems.
