Ehrm actually I played the game years ago so I might be misremembering but I think that the brave axe allow you to have two attacks for one both when you attack and when you get attacked 🤓

I meant each turn in combat, but in FE4, the game where you get the brave axe via the lady in the lake, you need a perk called pursuit to attack twice during once combat sequence, which Lex, the guy who gets the axe, does not. I'm also willing to bet Mimi also doesn't have pursuit either, she seems like a vantage type of girl.

But a gold axe would be terrible. It'd really heavy and wouldn't beable to maintain an edge because of how soft gold is.
