Hareta's wish:
"I want to romance Misaki. I want him to become a Heroine while remaining a boy."
Misaki's wish:
"I hope Hareta will deepen his relationship with the Heroines. For that, I will do anything. That's why I ask, if there is a God, please give Hareta a Happy Ending."

This, my dear Misaki, is bound to come and bite you.

Oh, in case you wonder:

Hareta, you must invade the school council society to save R̶u̶k̶i̶a̶ Misaki.

I'm under the impression Mei is not even trying to become the heroine and that's why she got something entirely unrelated. Apparently she was supposed to be the rich lady archetype and yet is a gyaru. I think it's cute that at some point she mentioned "What if Mei wanted to be something else?".
Crossdressing is a convenient and satisfying filling and whatever, yet we need progress, no the repeating pattern of (Misaki is forced to dress up → Hareta gets excited → Kya /// etc, etc). Let's add some more spices and have, if it need to be entertaining, more of the game implications (not of the kind that never leads to anything).

Also, I still suspect all of the heroines have a greater chance of ending up falling for Misaki himself.

I think Mei likes Hareta but she's always at her own pace and is not that interested in fighting against her friends for Hareta.

In the spoiler, "set /force" and "exit /resume". It's running on a Windows machine. Obligatory "I use Linux Mint btw".

Yeah, she like Hareta, but so do her friends and Hareta is in love with Misaki and doesn't show the least bit attraction towards any of the girls.

Wait, get the hose ready I'm thinking.

What if this game is all a bait and switch and Misaki is actually the protagonist, and the reason Hareta can't do anything is because he's not the "player character" and can't make decisions but everyone, Misaki included, thinks he is.
