So the Liberals are the Revolutionaries?
And then there's the I guess Royalist (which is also called Liberals somehow), Nobility, and Conservative (I guess this one wants to preserve the status quo?) faction in government? And the new Mitsuba faction.

The Liberals are either the revolution starters or support the Revolutionaries.

The Royalists,Nobility,Conservatives,and Bourgeois want to maintain the status quo.

Nobility and Bourgeois are the ones causing the most problems,and the ones to form the source of a crimson river.

The Royalists could survive by making the right choices that either maintain the status quo for the rulers of the nation or choices that push the royal family into a safer position within the nation,if not simply allowed to live peacefully outside of their original duties.

Conservatives definitely don't want change,but can be swayed if the results are best for the nation.

The Greeners are the cult-like insurgents who played the game very badly ever since the star player came to be.

Mitsubas' faction/party is formed from the parliment factions'/parties' that decided to side with her,which is its' own chaos.

What we do know is that this end with her at the top of it all.

LN is listed as on-going with 2 volumes out and a semi active fantl.

Sadly most LN adaptions are essentially contracted to just adapt volume 1 of the novels and then are judged if they are popular enough to continue. This is amusingly most often 4 volumes - 4=shi=death=unlucky.
Essentially, advertising for the LN ultimately. Lots of anime too falls into this.

Isn't it more so "LN still being translated"? But yeah i imagine it wouldn't have shown the whole story, be interesting if the same author could do the other stories that the author's written apparently they're loosely connected?

at least someone's doing the tl for this at least i'm sure there's interesting 'lore' even if we don't get a manga but i have seen some sketches/illusts, the art style does look distinctive there too
