Quite happy to stumble upon this comic. A fan of the author, but haven't read this one yet. Shame I don't think we'll ever see a comic version of The Girl Who Bore The Flame Ring, that being my favorite... Or at least the one that left me wanting more as it was unresolved last I read.

Seriously stumbled on this. Doing a vague "advanced search" to try to find a comic that ended maybe a decade ago. Still haven't found it, but getting some treasures like this make it worth the effort.

They didn't really clear up what happened to the King. I would think Mitsuba marrying into the royal family would be the obvious course. That would put all the original parliament factions under her control after purging the corrupt nobles and republicans. If the royal family was untouched, it would also put the neighboring countries at ease and improve negotiations, particularly with Casablanca.
