It's been a month already? Time flies! :nyoron:

I get why Otomi gets so worried that Touma's walking without his phone. After all, Eisuke went away without his phone, too, and that didn't end well. Harada's back! And he probably sees Minami and Tatsuya in Otomi and Touma, again. I'm kinda leaning to the idea that there won't be any romance between the two in the end, because there's none of it now. Or maybe it counts as romance... idk.

The whole scene of Touma's trying to bask in the glory of his victory when even his sis isn't that impressed is funny. Well, it's a small step for Meisei, but a giant leap for Touma!

Ooyama's words sort of confirm that the next competition we'll possibly see Meisei in will be the Spring Koshien, the participation there isn't guaranteed even in case of victory in Tokyo.

Also, not quite sure that "Mito" is the correct translation, but I'll fix it up later if there'd be a need for it.

See you on October 11th!

Hard to see that unless mangaka try to throw a curve ball. They are clearly counterpart of the pairing in author old work.
The difference is they don't actually have something holding them back like a Kayuza dead. but that also mean they need to keep the romance stay low, because the old one have thing to go around for to touch romance but can keep thing at bay. Here it don't have that, but the manga still gonna be a long drive before it end. They also currently step siblings.

I think they can remain step siblings by the end of the manga, call it a hunch or whatever. Probably because this work has less romance elements overall and instead focuses on the family theme.

I also agree it looks like they are going to maintain their relationship as step siblings, unless we see the introduction of another love-rival for either of them, to break the balance and move things forward (in classic Adachi-fashion) then I can't see any other outcome, I'd be very happy to be wrong tho to be honest ahah.

Thanks for another chapter!

Aw, Tou seems a little jealous of Sou. Or maybe more like he's frustrated with himself for not being able to offer more to the team. He's a fantastic pitcher, but "just" a pitcher while the elder Tachibana does it all. Poor kid lol

Early in the series, I thought Touma's lack of phone was going to be a big plot point. (Chekhov's Lack of Phone ) And now they're making a big deal about him never taking his phone with him. I had wondered early on if they were going to have another scene where they can't find their pitcher at the start of the game a la Kazuya. I wonder if Adachi will still try to pull something like that just to mess with us lol

Thank you so much for the update!

I always thought Adachi's self-inserting his aversion to mobile phones - or maybe just the concept of being reachable to anyone anywhere anytime, the line about being a dog on a leash was telling. But this way there are less modern technologies in the manga, and I rather enjoy and appreciate its retro atmosphere.
