That dream!!😭😭😭😭😭 Poor Touma. Do people really think he’s fine? His family can’t be the only ones who know how he’s grieving. I’m conflicted on whether or not Sou should have mentioned the birthday. Touma’s going to feel guilty later, but maybe they’re all too out of sorts to really celebrate anyway. Mama Tachibana would understand.

I would’ve said Sou is the only one who hasn’t changed, but he seemed to have been really sharp with Touma in the Kenjou match, so maybe he’s just grieving in a different way. I don’t think he was very close to Eisuke, but they seemed to have a good relationship. And like he said, that’s another dad gone.

For Akai, I think a non-frustrating way to lose would be in a fair match against a pitcher like Touma.

Totally agree with you on this one. Also, Sou is usually quite composed during games, but in that last game he said that Eisuke "wasn't his real dad anyway" - which is so beyond heartless that actually looks like his own way to deal with the trauma of loss.
