I believe I attempted to read this at least two times then dropped it because I thought it would devolve into lolicon drivel, but I pushed through this time to chapter 37 and in fact, it's quite entertaining. Part of that is definitely the art; the artist here is certainly quite talented, but also the overall humor of the story; I think that a lot of the bad reviews in these comments might have to do with how weak/immature/inept the protagonist is, which is one of those common ln adaptation complaints alongside "the mc is too overpowered" or "the mc is too nice". The way I see it, the fact that this story does not take itself seriously at all wipes away those concerns; this is a very shonen-type story where you don't need to worry about rapey goblins, overtly vindictive rival adventurers, or constant reminders of the terrible fate that lies in the protagonist failing. I get the feeling the ln isn't like that, and I appreciate it.

Suprisingly good for what it is, the mc may be weak but definitelly not spineless which is a welcome change in these days.The story isn't your average zero to hero, isekai or revenge plot you see nowdays and is pretty ok. The comedy is also present and not too forced, sometimes really takes you by surprise(the snot had me dying lmao). The suggestive tag is mostly done by the demon servant who's flashing her fancy panty everywhere but beside that there isn't much emphasis on this side.
I just wish there was a tid bit more world building outside the dungeon like school, family and the servant's realm. Also, why is he so obsessed with the dungeon to go there alone with a bugspray and wooden stick as weapon.
Deserve a shot even if the sypopsis does sound a bit off-putting.

I'm very confused because when I look at the chapter list, it says only up to chapter 28 is available (in English), but if I continue to the next page at the end of the chapter, there are more English chapters that just aren't shown in the list?

I remember not particularly caring for the anime. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't particularly like it either.
I am glad that I decided to check out the manga! I've enjoying it much more!
