There are two conclusions I can make about the fact that a raccoon girl is a trash collector:

One... that there is an underlying social stigma based on what species you are that forces you on predetermined roles, and that this story isn't about cute girls doing cute things but a complex societal satire that depicts a social dystopia.

Two... that a raccoon will raccoon and they don't give a fuck.

Personally... I think the latter is the more probable... cute trash panda girl XD.
