Still trying to wrap my head around that one of them is 5’3” and the other is 6’4” and yet the height difference is portrayed like she’s a giant. That’s only a foot height difference and neither are particularly unusual heights outside of Japan and yet she’s portrayed like she’s actually 8 feet and heavy.

6' 4-3/4" (especially when not a bean pole) is a massive girl anywhere in the world. And she's only 15 so she's either stopped growing or she'll end up 6' 6".

The average adult female non-Hispanic white height in the US is 5' 5" and for US Asian Americans it is 5' 2". For Japan it is 5' 2.5" for 18-49 and 5' 2" for 17-yo HS students. She's about 9.5" taller than the average Japanese 17-yo HS boy (170.6 cm, 5" 7").
