I seriously think that "Demon Sword" and "Demon Stone" are mistranslated and is quite fairly common mistranslation in these types of story. I haven't checked the raws but I can assume the japanese word for "Demon Sword" is "Maken", the "Ma" can be either translated to "Magic" or "Demon". The correct translation should be "Magic Sword" because there's no demonic aspect in Len's magic. Especially when Lycia apparently has a "Demon Stone" on her which is stupid and probably should've been "Magic Stone" cuz it makes more sense.

I see... The reason LEN in the OG game killed the white saint is most likely because of the Demon Stone ( which is most likely a mistranslation of magic stone ) inside her body. Maybe it's one of the catalyst to summon / awaken the demon king, knowing that, the saint told LEN not to speak a single word about it to anyone and also told him to kill her. Why? most likely because it's the only way to stop the summoning / awakening of the demon king. Why him tho? well... the hero might not want to do that and the saint knew it, so she asked LEN instead.

Looks like the original story in the game got reversed? (like how these seven heroes became the main villain in the story, and the villain from the game became hero?) or the whole story in the game was a misunderstanding plot (like this great noble Ignart's daughter died in the game because of the seven heroes?, and he did the revenge for it, that's why the "players" in the game classified him as the last boss/main villain). Also, in the MC's dream, where he saw Len carrying Lycia's dead body, probably someone took the magic stone/demon stone inside Lycia's body, and Len saw it; which is why from the MC's perspective, Len had this raging/killing aura, and the MC mistook it as Lycia was killed by Len.
