@Allexio I'll admit, I was quite surprised to see that you're a scanlator, regardless of the scale. Although I haven't read the series you worked on, I'd like to thank you for your contributions.
That aside, I still stand by my original comments. Jaimini's Box (the group whose policy you disliked) operates on a much larger scale, translating multiple contemporary (and popular) series that require weekly purchases on their part. While having an independent website might not make sense for you, it obviously does for them and the size at which they operate, which additionally serves as an archive of their work. If they only put their work directly onto MangaDex, they receive NO compensation to cover their regular expenses, which would exist whether they had their own site or not.
The reason why I still think your stance is immature is because it boils down to not understanding the value of labor and their following decisions. You asked why they would push people to their perfectly functional site, and I gave you the answer. You still feel "cheated" regardless, because clicking on a link or waiting 9 days is too much to handle. On top of that, "just not reading it" apparently isn't a viable option?
You obviously feel entitled to their work, maybe even moreso because you've done a scanlation project for free. But when you go on a rant about how it's easier for you to put your own series on MangaDex and ask why they don't do the same, it ends up looking like amateur hour
