It's an easy (if wrong) Conclusion. We'll see if they can look at the broad picture next chapter I guess.

Who? the fort is likely going to fall, they are being swarmed by what looks like possibly 100s of monsters. people are being slaughtered in mass. how is that a setup? who could setup a situation where a bunch of soldiers ignore attacking monsters and their friends getting slaughtered to setup the MC who is believed to be (and kinda is) a weakling. destroying the fort to setup the MC to reveal himself? IF true, that is stupid overkill, and reveal to who? to all the dead people?

This is the equivalent of cops conducting a sting on like a drug dealer and waiting for him to show his drugs, meanwhile they ignore 100 terrorists 20 feet away that are slaughtering people, other cops and blowing up buildings.

@Capt_Gigglepants They've been hinting for some chapters now that this monster flood is unnatural. It's possible that it is man-made. And whoever planned it could have had designs to sweep in with his troops and "save the day" or something or other. And they might have coincidentally seen the MC when about to enact that plan and seen him as the perfect foil to explain why the monster flood happened.

@OtaKael its a bit weird, I was reading a manga sometime ago and the raws are like 20 chapters ahead of the translations, I went in to check the next chapter and used the google translator app (with instant translation via camera) to read throught the chapter and everytime it translated a monster's name to 'night goblins' when they were 'knight goblins' (in armor and all).

Checking it now, apparently 'naito' (ナイト) means both.

Yes, both Night and Knight are both pronounced the same, so of course they would both be "Naito".

@OtaKael I mean, yeah in English they read the same but they arent written the same, but in Japanese they do read and write the same (at least when not in kanji I guess?).

Oh, I think you're misunderstanding something. Naito isn't japanese for knight and night. It's the japanese pronounciation of the english words. Like how Eariraru isn't the japanese word for aerial, it's just the english word pronounced with japanese characters. And since they are pronounced the same, naturally they would both be naito.
In actual japanese, 騎士Kishi is knight, and 夜Yoru is night.

Traitors? for what? or the scum classmate of them on the previous chapters are the one who reported they were bait the monster to attack the fort?

One of the flaw of a development like this was that, it let us think that the nobles and commanders are really stupid for not having a process to interrogate first the suspect, but instead it let through to their belief that something feasible was the right answer after all, even though its total non sense

Though Its already talked on the previous chapter, but what happened on this scene was that they should only the people on the hall fighting the monster and all soldiers are out in the open field to sortie out to defend the fort.

What puzzled me, whom reports about them? My instinct tells me that their scum classmate on the previous chapter are the one who reported it.

Or maybe, its Silane herself because her spirit only reports to her the location of the monsters and the soldiers rush in accidentally witnessing MC using his tamed monster.

Or, the soldiers are already brief that there are monster pretended to be a human before rushing it. They are arresting all of them and because they dont know who was it specifically.
