It’s starting to bug me a bit how things sometimes just happen because the plot says so, without really making sense.

For example, Anna is watching Muller and sees his bodyguard kill someone. She has no idea why (maybe Muller ordered it, maybe the guy was being threatening verbally) and it is not clear why she would care that he turn himself in versus just be killed. She goes and intervenes anyway.

Roberto killed the detective and then just walked away? Then he comes back, points a gun, and just lets Muller go? Anna runs off initially, just so she can lie in wait and abduct Muller a few minutes later? Anna doesn’t shoot Muller because... he cried? She already knew he had a family so that couldn’t be it. And then Roberto calls, urging Muller to come back, after he let him go?

There have been a few previous chapters with such contrivances but this one really took the cake.

Wait, is this the 5 teaspoons of sugar guy we partially saw a few chapters ago?
