Overall pretty mediocre for now, but at least the author didn't turn MC incompetent during the hostage exchange like I have expected. For now at least...

In fact turning OP MCs incompetent and pissing off readers is so common there should be a tag for it.

One of the worst contender in recent memory was Netachara. Threatening the MC and turning her incompetent even though she is a walking nuke, not only pissed off readers but also the scanlation group lol.
A shame really, because it had a similar premise as this manga, but was actually drawn by an competent mangaka (proper pacing, dynamic, paneling and facial expressions).
...Yeah I haven't gotten over the fact that manga and MC were butchered.
