Kuroi is awkward as hell, but there's a degree of attentiveness and consideration that comes out of him that would put many a romance manga ML to shame.
He can't control it and it seems very accidental and ill-timed, but the depth that just spills out of him every once in awhile is astoundingly cute and praise-worthy.

But I get it, Haida -- it's not while shucking peas, but I have my own version of "Spiraling Over the Past Whilst Doing Menial Thing". Just means we're human, and we are improving bit by bit.

It's like watching a cat and guinea pig dating. Kuroi is like a cat. He randomly shows up when he wants to see her and only wants the attention from her. Haida is cute and scared easily as a guinea pig with how she likes peas.

Not really. A lot of new romance manga from 2015 ~ now have a lot of ML more attentive to the FL. I think it's more of watching him grow to someone who could barely ask to be his girlfriend to now wanting to spend time with her. Love does make growth
